ATLANTA – Today, conservative businesswoman and political outsider Kelly Loeffler announced the National Right to Life Committee’s endorsement. As America’s oldest and largest anti-abortion organization, National Right to Life Committee’s support is the latest in a number of pro-life endorsements Senator Loeffler has received for her strong conservative record, including Susan B. Anthony List and the Georgia Family Policy Alliance. She is the only candidate in her U.S. Senate race to receive endorsements from major pro-life organizations.
“As a devout Christian and lifelong conservative, I strongly believe that every life is a precious gift from God. Although I have been in Washington just four months, protecting innocent life has been a top priority from day one,” said Senator Loeffler. “In that time, I sponsored legislation to stop the abortion-on-demand agenda and to support the life movement in America. I am honored to earn the endorsement of National Right to Life and will work together to continue to defend the rights of the unborn and promote a culture of life.”
“Sen. Loeffler is new to politics, but she has already become one of the strongest and most vocal pro-life advocates in Washington,” said Carol Tobias, President of the National Right to Life Committee. “With a 100% pro-life voting record and a bold approach to fighting for the unborn against the pro-abortion agenda, she is exactly the type of conservative leader that will stand up for Georgia’s values and deliver meaningful results on the issues that matter most. We are proud to endorse such a tremendous pro-life champion in Georgia’s race for United States Senate.”
Founded in 1968, the National Right to Life Committee (NRLC), the federation of 50 state right-to-life affiliates and more than 3,000 local chapters, is the nation’s oldest and largest grassroots pro-life organization. Recognized as the flagship of the pro-life movement, NRLC works through legislation and education to protect innocent human life from abortion, infanticide, assisted suicide and euthanasia.
