KELLY LOEFFLER BECOMES FIRST UNITED STATES SENATOR TO SIGN HERITAGE ACTION POLICE PLEDGE
ATLANTA – Today, conservative businesswoman and political outsider Kelly Loeffler became the first United States Senator to sign the Heritage Action Police Pledge – a signed commitment to oppose any bill, resolution, or movement to defund the police. Senator Loeffler, who is also the only candidate in her race to sign the pledge – has consistently supported our men and women of law enforcement, most recently sponsoring legislation to defund any city that attempts to defund its police department.
“There’s absolutely no question: Kelly Loeffler is the law and order candidate in this race, and no one is standing stronger with President Trump to support our law enforcement officers and restore safety and security in our communities,” said Communications Director Stephen Lawson. “Senator Loeffler is proud to be the only United States Senator – and only candidate in her race – to sign a pledge opposing the radical defund the police movement, and she will always stand strong to back the blue and keep Georgia families safe.”
